Ethan is an established philanthropist, inventor and motivational speaker. Ethan Ruby became passionate about medical marijuana after using it to successfully treat the pain and PTSD resulting from a traumatic spinal cord injury in 2000 that left him paralyzed from the chest down. On a mission to help others in similar circumstances, Ethan founded Theraplant with the hopes of producing medical marijuana in the state of Connecticut. In 2014, Theraplant received the highest score on their application for a license and was eventually the first producer to market with high-quality medical marijuana for the qualifying patients of CT. Dedicated to advancing the science behind the medicine and helping as many patients as possible, Ethan has began to expand his reach into other states including Minnesota and Nevada.
